Forest School is a child-centered inspirational learning process that supports play, exploration and supported risk taking. It develops confidence and self-esteem through providing experiences in a natural setting that are hands-on and inspired by the children taking part.

Forest Learning is Kilmorie’s own version of Forest School, and is facilitated by our teachers.

Early Phase

Forest Learning takes place in the Early Phase, using our own Wild Garden.

Year 6

In Year 6 Forest Learning sessions take place at Wild Cat Wilderness. Wild Cat Wilderness is a community green space and natural wilderness in Catford; the three Year 6 classes alternate weekly afternoon sessions which are loved by the children and adults alike and take place whatever the weather!
