Damien Egan, Lewisham Mayor, came to Kilmorie along with representatives from the NCIL committee who partly funded the project. As well as Rachel Mooney who designed the area and co-project managed and Kathryn from Friends of Kilmorie (school PTA) who also donated money towards the project.

Damien officially opened the play area and Kilmorie Reception children presented thank you cards to everyone who made the project happen.
