Rhiannon (Year 1)
Rory - I would like to celebrate Rory for his independent writing. Rory has started to check and edit his work after he has finished. Fantastic!
Aaliyah - I am so impressed with Aaliyah's resilience and focus during writing. Well done!
Kate (Year 2)
Thisbe – lots of people around the school have noticed how well you have been managing your emotions. You are able to let us know how you are feeling and why you are feeling that way, before the emotion takes over.
Louis – we are so proud of the resilient learner you have become. You are learning to use strategies to keep yourself calm and focussed and persevere with something you find tricky. Being able to manage these feelings is turning you into an even more amazing learner.
Hannah (Year 3)
Fabrizio - I am so impressed with your Stone Age Boy story. You have used lots of expanded noun phrases and fronted adverbials to add extra description - well done!
Benjamin - You are able to identify when you are in the red zone and use a tool in your toolbox to get back to green. Well done!
Sarah R (Year 4)
Teddy - For the improved presentation of his work, especially is handwriting.
Sezar - For his focus in class and the resilience he is showing with his work.
Hellen - Welcome to Kilmorie!
Archie - Zones of regulation award
Jo (Year 4)
This week I celebrated Ethan, Arthur and Abigail.
Ethan - For his excellent attitude to his learning. He has been taking a real pride in his work, particularly in his handwriting, which is getting better all the time. He is also showing improved focus when working independently, which is resulting in great progress.
Arthur - For always showing the Kilmorie quality of resilience. He always tries his best no matter what the topic and is becoming more confident, particularly in maths.
Abigail - For her ability to understand the Zones of Regulation and being able to come up with effective strategies for getting into the Green Zone and ready to learn.
