'Reception had a wonderful first trip out on Wednesday this week. It was so exciting for some children to be out of school, being supported by less familiar adults. Richard, the priest gave up most of his day to teach the children more about the font and its uses, the different clothes he wears, the significance of candles and he was proud to tell the history the wonderful rose window. The children engaged in role play as he explained the ritual of marriage within a church.
